Jurgen Klopp plays down Chelsea's poor form

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insists that Chelsea's current form does not make them easier opponents at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he is expecting a difficult game when he takes his side to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.

The Blues currently sit in 15th position in the Premier League table after losing five of their opening 10 games, but Klopp has insisted that the Blues' struggles do not make them easier opponents.

The 48-year-old told reporters: "Ramires, [Nemanja] Matic are great players. [Gary] Cahill and [John] Terry from set plays are big guys. I'm not sure it's easier now to play Chelsea.

"You think Tottenham was easy? Southampton was not easy. Do Chelsea players still know how to play football? Of course they do."

Liverpool head into the match in ninth place, while Klopp is yet to suffer defeat since arriving at Anfield earlier this month.
