Mauricio Pochettino reportedly retains the backing of his Chelsea first-team squad.
The Argentine was appointed as the Blues' new head coach in the summer and is tasked with rebuilding a club that had just endured one of their worst-ever campaigns in the Premier League.
Although there have been times when Chelsea have impressed under Pochettino's watch, they currently sit in 12th position in the top-flight standings.
While Chelsea recently battled to a 3-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion when playing with 10 men for more than half the match, defeats have also been posted at Newcastle United, Manchester United and Everton.
Pochettino hinted after the latest setback against the latter that he would like to add further fresh faces to an already-expensively-assembled squad.

Such comments would seem to indicate that he has not been overly convinced with the performances of some of the players in the senior ranks since the start of August.
Nevertheless, according to talkSPORT, there are no issues behind the scenes and that the players continue to have faith in Pochettino's methods.
Furthermore, it is claimed that co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital remain confident that Pochettino is still the right person to lead the team.
Pochettino has frequently alluded to his expectations being a return to European football as soon as possible, the belief being that Chelsea are building "something amazing".

Those were Pochettino's words as recently as Friday, but Chelsea now sit 11 points adrift of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the Christmas and New Year period.
If Chelsea are to spend in January, money will have to be generated from elsewhere to ensure that the club remain within FFP regulations.
A new centre-back, centre-midfielder and forward are allegedly desired by Pochettino as he bids to add more physicality and a cutting edge to his squad.
Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen and Noni Madueke - who have one Premier League start between them this season - are the most obvious candidates to be sold or loaned out at the midway point of the season.
