Harry Redknapp believes that no manager should fail to be successful if they were given the chance to take charge of Chelsea.

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has said that only "a real dope" would fail to make a success of managing Chelsea.

Rafael Benitez has lost just two of his 11 matches in charge of the Blues, having replaced Roberto Di Matteo in November last year.

However, ahead of his side's trip to Chelsea this evening, Redknapp believes that any manager should achieve positive results at Stamford Bridge.

"You'd have to be a real dope to mess it up with [the likes of] Eden Hazard, Juan Mata [and] Frank Lampard," he told reporters. "[Benitez] has walked into a squad of players there who are Champions League winners - you've got a chance, haven't you?"

Redknapp's team travel to Chelsea bottom of the Premier League table, while the hosts sit fourth.
