Massimiliano Allegri: 'Mario Balotelli staying at AC Milan'

Coach Massimiliano Allegri says that there is "absolutely" no chance of Mario Balotelli leaving AC Milan in January.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that Mario Balotelli will not be sold during the January transfer window.

The striker's future at the San Siro had been thrown into doubt following a recent revelation by his agent, who had suggested that the 23-year-old would strongly consider a switch to Chelsea.

However, Allegri has revealed that the Italian international is not for sale.

"He will not leave in January. Absolutely not. I think Mario should be left in peace. It's not difficult to manage him," he told the club's official website.

Former Inter Milan frontman Balotelli joined rivals AC from Manchester City last winter.
