Patrick Bamford has revealed that he would be happy to remain on loan at Middlesbrough from Chelsea until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old forward is currently on loan to the Championship side until January, following successful spells with MK Dons and Derby County last term.
Bamford has said that he is pleased to be working with Boro head coach Aitor Karanka, who was Blues boss Jose Mourinho's assistant at Real Madrid.
"I chose to come here until January because I wanted to keep my options open," Bamford told Sky Sports News.
"The way things are going at the moment I'm more than happy to extend the loan if the opportunity arises. I'm loving it here.
"A lot of the training sessions are similar to those at Chelsea, which isn't a surprise given the connection between the managers."
Bamford netted his first goal for Boro in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Brentford.
