Chelsea reportedly agree a £49.3m deal with Napoli for striker Edinson Cavani, who has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal with Napoli for striker Edinson Cavani.

The Uruguay international is expected to leave Serie A this summer, with the Blues, Manchester City and Real Madrid all reported to be vying for his signature.

While members of Cavani's family have insisted that the forward has his heart set on moving to the Bernabeu, it has been claimed that Chelsea have struck a £49.3m deal with Napoli.

The Daily Mail quotes Napoli's official radio station Radio Marte as saying: "We have received news in the office from a very reliable source that Napoli have sealed a deal with Chelsea for Cavani's sale."

Reports have claimed that Premier League champions Manchester United are willing to launch a bid in the region of £50m for Cavani.
