Chelsea are reportedly looking to sell Romelu Lukaku after the World Cup.
Lukaku is currently on loan at Inter Milan, but has struggled for regular minutes since his return to Italy due to injuries.
The Belgian international suffered another injury setback this week and is currently sidelined with a hamstring problem, but should still be fit for the World Cup which gets underway in just under three weeks' time.
According to The Evening Standard, Chelsea are looking to sell Lukaku following the World Cup and hope he can boost his transfer value with his performances for Belgium ahead of a permanent exit.
In addition, there is also a verbal agreement between Chelsea and Inter that the club can loan him again next season under the same terms, but the latest reports claim the London club are aiming to offload him and recoup as much money as possible.
Lukaku, 29, was signed by Thomas Tuchel in the summer of 2021 but failed to meet expectations before he was sent on loan to former club Inter to rediscover his form.
The high-profile return to London only produced eight Premier League goals last season and 15 in all competitions.
So far this season his fortunes have not improved, only managing 256 minutes of action since rejoining Inter, with only two goals in five appearances.
