Chelsea reportedly send scouts to watch Torino defender Bremer, joining Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in the race for his signature.

Chelsea have reportedly identified Torino defender Bremer as a possible transfer target.

The Blues are in the market for defensive reinforcements amid uncertainty over the futures of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta, all of whom are out of contract at the end of this season.

Thomas Tuchel remains hopeful that they can keep hold of their defensive quartet, but the club have begun to explore alternative options in case they are unable to agree terms.

The Daily Mail reports that Bremer is one of the players on their shortlist, with the London outfit having been impressed when they sent scouts to watch him against Empoli last week.

However, Chelsea could face competition for his signature from Premier League rivals Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

The 24-year-old is contracted to Torino until 2023, and the Serie A outfit are understood to be holding out for a bid of at least £21m.

Bremer joined Torino in 2018, and has since scored 12 goals in 93 appearances for the club.
