Chelsea: 'We're still in the transfer market'

Ron Gourlay says that Chelsea are still in the hunt for new players during the last few days of the current transfer window.

Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay has insisted that the club are still looking to bring in more players during the current transfer market.

The Blues have brought in Willian and Samuel Eto'o over the past week to add to earlier signings of Andre Schurrle, Marco van Ginkel and Mark Schwarzer.

Despite there being less than four days to go in the window, Gourlay is adamant that Chelsea will continue to look for possible transfers.

"It's a very good signing for the club," Gourlay told Sky Sports News.

"We have always said we are always looking to strengthen, but it's all about the right players being available at the right time.

"Samuel was available and I think he just adds some experience to the players we already have around us."

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.
