Andre Schurrle will stay at Bayer Leverkusen, according to his manager Sascha Lewandowski.
Schurrle is a long-term target for Chelsea and is understood to have been the subject of a substantial bid from the Blues this summer.
However, Bayer boss Lewandowski is adamant that Schurrle is staying in Germany for the new season.
He told Bild: "The fact that he's staying is a positive sign for everyone. We have huge goals, and we want to achieve them with him."
The 21-year-old has played 16 times for Germany, scoring seven goals.
