Douglas Costa desperate to work with Jose Mourinho

Douglas Costa reiterates his desire to swap Shakhtar Donetsk for Chelsea and says that Jose Mourinho's presence is a prime factor behind his "dream" move.

Shakhtar Donetsk ace and reported Chelsea target Douglas Costa has said that he would jump at the chance to play under manager Jose Mourinho.

The Brazilian has found himself the subject of intense speculation this month as the Blues reportedly prepare to lodge an £18.7m bid.

The Portuguese coach has previously admitted that he was "happy" to learn that Costa looked upon a switch to Stamford Bridge as a "dream" move.

Now, the 24-year-old has reiterated his ambition to join up with the West Londoners, and reveals that the presence of Mourinho is a key factor.

"To play at Chelsea is a dream for any player. It is standing next to some of the best players in the world and competing with the world's best as well," he told GloboEsporte.

"But really, what catches my eye is the coach.

"He is a very intelligent coach and has been victorious wherever he went. One of the things that would make me happier to act at Chelsea would be this."

Costa has another three-and-a-half years to run on his existing deal with the Ukrainian giants.
