Exeter City chairman Julian Tagg has revealed that the League Two club are still awaiting a compensation payment from Chelsea for youngster Ethan Ampadu.
Blues boss Antonio Conte lavished praise on the 17-year-old following his man-of-the-match display against Bournemouth in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
Ampadu has now featured three times for Chelsea in the domestic cup competition and once from the bench in the Premier League, but a tribunal date to determine his transfer fee has yet to have been set, nearly five months after making the switch from Exeter.
"We don't have a date yet for the tribunal but the arbitration is taking its natural course and we will inform fans when we know more," Tagg said.
"Our relationship with Chelsea remains good, as it has been throughout this whole process, and it is nice to see Ethan doing so well and earning praise for his performances at both club and international level."
Ampadu, capped twice by Wales at senior level, emerged through the Exeter academy ranks and made his debut at the age of 15 years and 331 days last year.
