Tore Andre Flo: 'David Luiz is very happy at Chelsea'

Tore Andre Flo says that he "does not really understand" why David Luiz is being constantly linked with a move away from Chelsea, as the defender is happy in West London.

Chelsea coach and ambassador Tore Andre Flo has stressed that David Luiz is "very happy" at the club and is not seeking a move away.

The Brazilian defender is rumoured to have a strained relationship with boss Antonio Conte, dating back to a falling-out after the Blues lost 3-0 to Roma.

Since losing his place in the side to Andreas Christensen two months ago, Luiz has been linked with an array of sides - Real Madrid and Manchester United among them.

Flo insists that there is nothing untoward about events behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge, however, and expects the 30-year-old - currently carrying a minor injury - to stick around.

"He looks very happy to me. He's a very lively player and to me there doesn't seem to be any problems at all," Flo told Sky Sports News.

"He is injured for the moment, so I don't really understand all this stuff going on in the press. To me, it's just a player who for the moment is injured and seems to be very happy at the club."

Luiz last played a Premier League game for the champions on October 28.
