West Bromwich Albion have confirmed that Romelu Lukaku will remain with them until the end of the season.
Under the terms of the season-long loan agreement that took him to The Hawthorns in the summer, parent club Chelsea had the right to recall the Belgian striker during this month's transfer window.
However, the Baggies have revealed that the Blues are happy for the 19-year-old to stay put.
"Albion are pleased to confirm that Romelu Lukaku will remain at The Hawthorns for the rest of the season," read a statement on the club's official website.
Lukaku is currently West Brom's leading goalscorer in the Premier League this season, having found the net seven times.
