Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho sure of Diego Costa arrival

Jose Mourinho assures Chelsea fans that Diego Costa will soon become a Blue, despite the transfer taking longer than expected to be completed.

Jose Mourinho has assured Chelsea fans that Diego Costa will soon become a Blue, despite the transfer taking longer than expected to be completed.

It was reported earlier this month that the striker, currently on duty with Spain at the World Cup, had completed his medical ahead of a £32m move from Atletico Madrid.

However, the transfer is yet to be confirmed, but Mourinho isn't concerned.

"Costa is a player who I want to have in my team," he told Spanish publication Marca.

"I've asked my club for him and I have total confidence that we're going to achieve it and he will end up signing for Chelsea."

Costa started Spain's first game in Brazil but failed to get on the scoresheet as the defending champions were thumped 5-1 by the Netherlands.
