Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho denies that Ramires could join Real Madrid this summer.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has denied that Ramires could join Real Madrid this summer.

It has been reported that the Champions League winners are keen on signing the 27-year-old, who has a strong relationship with Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti.

However, Mourinho has quelled such talk and insisted that the Brazilian will remain in London.

"I have a great friendship with important people at Madrid and they know that Ramires is staying at Chelsea," Mourinho told Marca.

"They know that Ramires won't go and they know I'm not interested in any Madrid player."

Ramires revealed his respect for Ancelotti during an interview yesterday.
