Real Madrid have reportedly identified Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as a key target ahead of the summer transfer window.
Having signed Eduardo Camavinga earlier this year, it has been suggested that Los Blancos will now focus their efforts on bringing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland.
However, Marca claims that Real will also prioritise adding France international Tchouameni to their squad in 2022.
The 21-year-old has emerged as an important player for club and country, the defensive-minded midfielder impressing as the world champions defeated Spain in the UEFA Nations League final on Sunday.
Real will have to fend off the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus if they want to win the race for Tchouameni's signature.
The player still has just under three years left on his contract with Monaco.
