Mohamed Salah: 'I don't intend to return to Chelsea'

Mohamed Salah admits that he doesn't intend to return to Chelsea when his loan spell at Fiorentina comes to an end in the summer.

Mohamed Salah has admitted that he has no plans to return to Chelsea when his loan spell at Fiorentina comes to an end.

The 22-year-old joined the Serie A side on transfer deadline day on a temporary deal until the end of the season.

Salah's move away from Stamford Bridge was included as part of Juan Cuadrado's permanent switch to Jose Mourinho's side.

Despite still technically being a Chelsea player, Salah, who had limited first-team football under Mourinho, has revealed that he was keen to leave the Premier League side.

In today's press conference, Salah said: "At the moment I don't intend to return to Chelsea. I want to do well with Fiorentina. I spoke with Mourinho and told him I wanted to leave Chelsea and he was fine."

Salah, who was previously linked to Liverpool, joined Chelsea from Basel last year.
