Chelsea are reportedly ready to sign Brazilian striker Taison from Metalist Kharkiv.
The 24-year-old is thought to have been a target of the Blues for a number of months and he was a guest of the club during November's Premier League fixture with Fulham.
Having held a series of preliminary discussions, Chelsea officials feel that they can land the former Internacional player for around £10m, according to the London Evening Standard.
Should Taison arrive at Stamford Bridge this month, he could very well be joined by Demba Ba after Newcastle United revealed that they have given their centre-forward permission to discuss terms with the European champions.
