Sports Mole previews the League Cup third round clash between Crawley Town and Swansea City at the Broadfield Stadium.

League One outfit Crawley Town welcome Premier League club Swansea City to the Broadfield Stadium in round three of the League Cup on Tuesday.

Crawley have started the season in solid form with a return of 13 points from eight games to sit eighth in the table. However, they were beaten 5-2 by high-flying Tranmere Rovers at the weekend.

Swansea began their season with two straight wins in the league, but they have lost their last two to drop into the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Crawley could recall Claude Davis to the starting side, while Sergio Torres is also available after missing the last five games with a leg injury. On-loan striking duo Jonathan Forte and Nicky Ajose are both expected to start.

Swansea, meanwhile, will name an experimental lineup with the likes of Ashley Williams, Leon Britton and Danny Graham not expected to start. Former Southend United midfielder Mark Gower could skipper the side.

Recent form:

Crawley: WWLWDL
Swansea: WWWDLL

Possible lineups:

Crawley: Kuipers; Walsh, Davis, Connolly, Hunt; Adams, Torres, Bulman, Clarke; Ajose, Forte

Swansea: Tremmel; Rangel, Tate, Monk, Davies; Tiendalli, Ki, Gower, Hernandez, Routledge; Moore

Sports Mole says: 2-3
