Half-Time Report: Michu gives Swansea City the lead

Half time at the Liberty Stadium sees Swansea City lead Crystal Palace 1-0, thanks to an early goal from Michu.

Swansea City have headed in at half time with a 1-0 lead over Crystal Palace in their Premier League clash.

The away side took the lead after just two minutes when Michu found space in the area before slamming home to make it 1-0.

Chico Flores almost doubled Swansea's lead two minutes later, but his volley was cleared off the line.

Jason Puncheon had the home side's first meaningful effort of the game, but his shot was blocked by the defence.

Michu continued to threaten for Swansea and saw a half-volley just deflected over on 31 minutes.

An inventive free kick from Palaca resulted in a 25-yard effort from Adlene Guedioura, but his strike went straight at Michel Vorm.

Angel Rangel came close to making it 2-0 on 39 minutes with a fine volley from the edge of the area, but the goalkeeper just tipped it over the bar.
