Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann has claimed that Alan Pardew has the ability to become manager of England in the future.
The 54-year-old has had a major impact in his time with the Eagles since he left Newcastle United in January.
Palace have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign and are currently in sixth place in Premier League following their defeat at the hands of West Ham United on Saturday.
Dann believes that if the Football Association are searching for an English candidate in the future to become boss of the Three Lions, then Pardew is the man to fit the bill.
"I would say so," Dann told Sky Sports News. "When you look around for an English manager there are not many out there and he would be at the top of the list."
Pardew won Premier League Manager of the Season in the 2011-12 campaign for guiding Newcastle to fifth place in the top flight.
