Tony Pulis 'not getting carried away' after Crystal Palace exit relegation zone

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis insists that his side cannot afford to get complacent after climbing out of the Premier League's relegation zone.

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has insisted that his side cannot afford to get complacent after climbing out of the relegation zone.

The Eagles moved off the bottom of the Premier League table and climbed to 16th on Saturday with their 1-0 win over Stoke City.

Palace have taken 13 points from 10 games since Pulis was appointed as Ian Holloway's successor in November, but the Welshman knows that much work is still ahead.

"With 16 games to go, we've given ourselves a chance from not having a chance. But we can't get carried away," Pulis told BBC Sport.

Pulis has never been relegated during his 21-year career as a manager.
