Crystal Palace confirm Bakary Sako signing

Former Wolves winger Bakary Sako joins Crystal Palace on a three-year contract.

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of former Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Bakary Sako on a three-year deal.

The Mali international, 27, left Wolves earlier this summer after turning down a new contract at Molineux, where he scored 15 goals in all competitions last season.

"I talked to some clubs but when I met Alan [Pardew] I felt a good feeling between him and me and that's why I chose Palace," he told the club's official website.

"He plays attacking, attractive football so it should be good to play here and score some goals - that's why I came to join him.

"I want to play lots of games, score some goals and get some assists and enjoy myself. I'm confident about stepping up to the premier League so we'll see how it goes."

Sako joined Wolves from Saint-Etienne in 2012 for a reported fee of £2.2m.
