Crystal Palace are looking to tie up a deal for Sunderland striker Connor Wickham, according to reports.
The Eagles have allegedly been watching Wickham for some time and he is thought to be highly rated by Tony Pulis and other senior figures at the club.
Co-chairman Steve Parish is understood to be willing to sanction a £3.5m outlay on the England Under-21 man as he believes the player to have resale value as well as the ability to slot straight into the team, according to The Mirror.
Palace have already added Wayne Hennessey and Jason Puncheon to their ranks today.
