Crystal Palace chairman Steven Parish reveals that the club are looking to sell Nathaniel Clyne this summer.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has revealed that the club are looking to sell Nathaniel Clyne this summer.

The 21-year-old is a free agent after his deal with the Eagles expired at the start of the month.

However, because he is under the age of 24, Palace would be due compensation from whichever club he decides to join.

While Parish has admitted that there are number of clubs interested in the defender's services, the chairman went on to claim that none of them wish to go to a tribunal to agree a fee.

"We need to do a deal with Clyne," said Parish. "There is a bit of action in the background and we know there is a lot of interest.

"It is just about sorting out who it is best to go to and who will put the right money on the table. We're all working to get an outcome.

"Clubs don't want to go down the tribunal route. It is a game of cat and mouse on the fee - we've just got to let that play out."

Clyne has recently been linked with Manchester United and West Ham United.
