Derby County's Paul Clement: 'No complaints with draw'

Derby County boss Paul Clement concedes that his side were not good enough to beat Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Paul Clement has admitted that his Derby County side did not do enough offensively to argue that they deserved to win today's Championship encounter away at Sheffield Wednesday, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

The Rams recorded their third clean sheet in a row at Hillsborough, but they struggled to carve out openings up the other end of the pitch.

"It was probably a fair result. Overall, though, I didn't think our performance was very good today - certainly offensively," Clement told the club's official website.

"Defensively we showed a lot of resilience and even though they had some decent opportunities and got themselves into good areas we defended the penalty area very well.

"We can't complain that we didn't win the game. We didn't create enough over the 90 minutes to really merit the victory."

The draw has left Derby third in the table, four points adrift of leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
