Steve Bruce backs Hull City to rally following Derby County defeat

Hull City boss Steve Bruce is confident that his team will bounce back from their defeat to Derby County at the KC Stadium.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has backed his team to respond to their 2-0 defeat to Derby County at the KC Stadium.

The Tigers surrendered top spot in the Championship to the Rams as a first-half brace from Jacob Butterfield guided Paul Clement's men to the three points, inflicting the first home defeat on Hull this season.

"We've had a setback and now it's about how we respond," Bruce told the club's official website.

"We have to show our resilience again now and go on another run. I'm sure we'll do that."

Hull are next in Championship action against Leeds United at Elland Road next week.
