Derby beat high-flying Blackpool 2-1 to move up to 14th in the Championship.

Derby County pulled off something of a shock this evening as they beat Blackpool 2-1 at Pride Park.

High-flying Blackpool got off to the perfect start when the in-form Tom Ince gave them a lead after just two minutes.

Neither side could trouble the scorers before the interval, but Derby began the second half as strongly as Blackpool did the first and were level within six minutes of the restart courtesy of a Steve Davies free kick.

The Rams completed their comeback with 15 minutes left when Davies grabbed his second goal of the game, much to the dismay of the travelling fans.

The result means that Derby jump up to 14th in Championship table, while Blackpool drop down to fifth.
