Everton's John Stones has been forced to withdraw from the England squad for the European Championship qualifiers against Estonia and Lithuania due to injury.
The 21-year-old defender missed Everton's last two fixtures after suffering a knee injury in their Capital One Cup win over Reading.
"Everton defender John Stones, who missed the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Sunday, has been ruled out due to injury," the FA said in a statement.
Tottenham Hotspur duo Kyle Walker and Andros Townsend have been called up as replacements for the injured defender.
Meanwhile, the FA also confirmed that Wayne Rooney, Danny Ings and Jonjo Shelvey all sat out training at St George's Park on Tuesday.
