Bryan Oviedo confident Everton can go all the way in the Europa League

Bryan Oviedo believes that Everton can go all the way in the Europa League, as well as finishing in the "top positions" of the Premier League.

Bryan Oviedo has insisted that Everton are capable of winning the Europa League, as well as finishing in the "top positions" of the Premier League.

Roberto Martinez's side have had a poor run in the top flight having secured just one win in their last seven fixtures, which has left them 12th in the table.

In contrast, the Merseyside outfit have done much better in Europe and will face Young Boys in Switzerland for the first leg of their last-32 clash on Thursday.

"For me, we want to win the Europa League and of course finish in the top positions in the Premier League," the Liverpool Echo quotes Oviedo as saying. "Both are very important for us.

"Of course, that means we will need to be very strong between now and the end of the season. We have to give our maximum, but we know what we can do. We have shown that in Europe already this season, against some very good teams."

Everton's league rivals Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also in the competition.
