Everton's Darron Gibson 'to be passed fit for Fulham match'

Everton are reportedly confident that midfielder Darron Gibson will be fit for this weekend's match against Fulham.

Everton midfielder Darron Gibson will reportedly be included in the squad for this weekend's Premier League match against Fulham, despite injury fears.

The former Manchester United player limped off the pitch during the Toffees' 1-0 defeat to Sunderland last weekend with a troublesome thigh injury.

While Gibson is expected to be fit for Saturday's encounter, the 25-year-old could undergo surgery at the end of the season, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Merseyside outfit are currently six points away from a Champions League qualifying spot.
