Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Andre Silva to West Ham United and an update on Mario Lemina's future at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

West Ham United are reportedly considering making a move for RB Leipzig forward Andre Silva before the January transfer window closes for business to address their issues in the final third of the field.

The Hammers are currently without the services of Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Niclas Fullkrug due to injury problems, and the London club are hoping to bring in a new attacker over the next couple of weeks.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Silva is an option, with the 29-year-old free to leave his German club this month.

Silva has only managed one goal and three assists in 15 appearances for Leipzig during the 2024-25 campaign, incoming one goal and two assists in eight outings in the top flight of German football.

The Portuguese has been with Leipzig since 2021, but he spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan with Real Sociedad in La Liga, scoring four times in 27 appearances in all competitions.

Pereira confirms Lemina wants to leave Wolves

Meanwhile, Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Vitor Pereira has revealed that Mario Lemina wants to leave the club before the end of the winter transfer market.

Lemina was not in the squad for Wednesday's Premier League clash against Newcastle United, and after the match, Pereira said that the 31-year-old has expressed a desire to depart over the next couple of weeks.

"I can't bring a player who tells me he is not in the mental condition to help the team,' Pereira told reporters after his side's 3-0 defeat to the Magpies. "He (Lemina) wants to leave.

"I don't know what happened before me, but with this energy and this mentality, I don't need him. He said to me that he wants to leave and he communicated this decision one month ago to the club."

Lemina was stripped of the captaincy at Wolves last month following an altercation with West Ham's Bowen after a Premier League clash between the two teams.

The 31-year-old has been with Wolves since January 2023, making 77 appearances in all competitions, including 19 outings this term.

Celtic 'lining up move for Real Valladolid attacker'

Elsewhere, Celtic are reportedly planning to make a move for Real Valladolid attacker Raul Moro.

The 22-year-old has made a big impression for his La Liga club during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring four times and registering two assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have all recently been credited with an interest in Moro, who is said to be valued by his current side in the region of £8.5m.

According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are currently considering making a bid for Moro, with the forward expected to be sold before the end of the January transfer window.

Ajax have already confirmed their interest in Moro, but it is understood that the Dutch outfit are yet to meet Real Valladolid's asking price for a player who has a contract at Estadio Jose Zorrilla until June 2028.
