Captain Phil Neville reveals his disappointment at Everton's 1-1 draw at Wigan Athletic this afternoon.

Everton captain Phil Neville has admitted that he is disappointed with his side's 1-1 draw at Wigan Athletic this afternoon.

The visiting Toffees looked to be heading for a defeat following an own goal from Neville, only for substitute Victor Anichebe to rescue a point late in the game.

"Disappointed with a point we needed the 3 points today to cap off a perfect week great travelling support as always," Neville wrote on Twitter.

The draw has left Everton 11th in the Premier League table.
