Preview: Everton vs. Reading

Everton host Reading at Goodison Park on Saturday looking to stay in touch with Arsenal in the Premier League.

Both Everton and Reading will be in need of three points for different reasons when they meet at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Everton have lost their last two Premier League games after previously going undefeated in five and are in danger of losing touch with Arsenal in fifth.

Since Reading's unbeaten stretch between mid-January and early February they have also lost two on the spin, last time a morale-sapping 3-0 defeat at home to relegation rivals Wigan Athletic.

Victor Anichebe and Marouane Fellaini are the only slight doubts for David Moyes, although both are expected to play some part in the game.

The three-game suspension of Pavel Pogrebnyak for his red card in the Wigan defeat is Brian McDermott's only fresh concern.
