How Everton could line up against West Bromwich Albion

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Everton could line up for their Premier League showdown with West Bromwich Albion on Thursday evening.

Everton will aim to continue their charge for a Champions League place when they travel to The Hawthorns to take on relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion on Thursday night.

Carlo Ancelotti is already without the injured Fabian Delph, Yerry Mina and Jean-Philippe Gbamin - the latter two should return later this month - while James Rodriguez, Tom Davies and Seamus Coleman also missed out against Southampton with slight knocks.

However, the Toffees manager has affirmed that none of the trio is carrying anything serious and should be fine for the midweek encounter with West Brom, so all three could be rotated into the side with Monday's game against Chelsea in mind.

Coleman may displace Mason Holgate on the right-hand side of the defence, but the rest of Ancelotti's backline will remain untouched after a second consecutive clean sheet, while Robin Olsen should be fit but is not expected to demote Jordan Pickford down to the bench.

Allan played the full 90 minutes against Southampton for the first time since returning from injury so is unlikely to start again so soon, meaning that Davies should come into the engine room alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Ancelotti waited 87 minutes before making any changes against Southampton so will definitely shuffle the pack here, as Rodriguez's expected return means that Gylfi Sigurdsson could be warming the bench despite claiming the assist for Richarlison's winner on Monday night.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin bagged a hat-trick in September's 5-2 thrashing of West Brom and will be determined to return to scoring ways here, and the introduction of Alex Iwobi could complete the changes for a fatigued Everton.

Everton possible starting lineup:
Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Godfrey, Digne; Doucoure, Davies; Iwobi, Rodriguez, Richarlison; Calvert-Lewin
