Everton interested in Lyon playmaker Memphis Depay?

Everton are reportedly contemplating whether to make an approach for Lyon forward Memphis Depay.

After a disappointing spell at Manchester United, Depay has rebuilt his career at Lyon, contributing 53 goals from 127 appearances in all competitions.

However, the Netherlands international has little interest in extending his contract past 2021, leaving his club to consider offers for his signature.

According to Calciomercato, Everton and AC Milan are two of the teams who may make a bid for the playmaker.

Despite just 12 months remaining on his deal, Lyon are said to be determined to avoid parting ways with one of their key man for a cut-price fee.

The Ligue 1 side, who have missed out on Europe next season, allegedly value Depay at €30m (£26.95m).
