Everton boss Ronald Koeman wants two more "quality" signings

Everton manager Ronald Koeman hopes to further add to his squad in the coming weeks, despite already spending close to £100m on new talent.

Ronald Koeman has declared himself "very pleased" with Everton's transfer spending to date, but admits that he is still keen to add "one or two quality players" to his ranks.

The Toffees have been among European football's top-spending sides so far during the summer window, bringing in close to £100m worth of talent.

Wayne Rooney, Davy Klaassen, Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford, Henry Onyekuru and Sandro Ramirez have all been recruited, but Everton are still being linked with a number of names.

Among those thought to be on Koeman's radar are Gylfi Sigurdsson and Moussa Sissoko, with the Dutchman not yet prepared to put away the chequebook.

"So far, I am very pleased with the way Everton have strengthened," he told reporters. "Within our possibilities we have been able to get everything we needed. If we get one or two quality players we can go for a place in the top six."

Everton have also made around £90m in player sales this summer, the majority of which came from Romelu Lukaku's switch to Manchester United.
