FC Twente grabbed a late 2-0 victory against PEC Zwolle this evening to move up to eighth in the Eredivisie.
Goals from Renato Tapia and Hakim Ziyech in the last 15 minutes of the match ensured victory for Twente.
Twente started the match well, with Luc Castaignos twice and Renato Tapia testing Zwolle goalkeeper Walter Hahn in the opening 10 minutes.
Zwolle grew into the match, and Tomas Necid, Maikel van der Werff and Mustafa Saymak all had chances to give their team the lead before half time.
Tapia and Castaignos were linking up well in attack for Twente, with both players getting shots on target towards the end of the first half.
Twente dominated the second half, with Tapia again causing problems for the Zwolle defence and Jesus Corona and Kyle Ebecilio also getting scoring chances.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 77th minute as Tapia's shot found the back of the net.
Zwolle pushed for an equaliser in the closing 10 minutes, but Saymak and Stef Nijland failed to convert their chances.
Hakim Ziyech doubled Twente's advantage and made sure of the points with seven minutes remaining.
