Monday's Brasileiro football predictions including Flamengo vs. Santos

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Brasileiro fixtures, including Flamengo vs. Santos.

Sao Paulo vs. Juventude (Monday, 10.00pm)

Juventude can virtually secure their place back into the top-flight next season with a win on Monday at Cicero Pompeu de Toledo Stadium against Sao Paulo.

A victory for Tricolor Paulista would guarantee they avoid relegation as they sit in 14th place, five points above that line, while Juve dropped a 1-0 decision to Fortaleza on Friday but could move as high as 12th with a victory.

We say: Sao Paulo 1-1 Juventude

Both sides have been hot and cold in recent weeks as they both tend to do just enough to win once in a while, so we expect that both sides would be content with a point, knowing that it would keep each of them above the relegation line heading into the final round of matches next Thursday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Athletico PR vs. Palmeiras (Monday, 10.00pm)

On Monday, Athletico Paranaense can secure their spot in the top flight for next season with a point at home to Palmeiras in a champion versus champion showdown from Arena da Baixada.

The Copa Sudamericana winners moved five points clear of the relegation line and into 13th with a 1-0 over Cuiaba, while the now two-time Copa Libertadores champions followed up their cup triumph with a 3-1 win over that same Dourado club on Tuesday.

We say: Athletico Paranaense 1-0 Palmeiras

There is no chance for Palmeiras to win another trophy this season, as they are stuck in third place, so expect Ferreira to allow several reserves to gain some experience with the senior side, and while those players are solid prospects, they are not as polished as the first-team for El Paranaense.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Flamengo vs. Santos (Monday, 11.00pm)

With the hopes of a third successive Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A title no longer in the cards, Flamengo will face Santos at the Maracana on Monday in their final home match of this league campaign.

Mengao are coming off a 1-1 draw versus Sport Recife on Friday, while Peixe came back to tie Internacional 1-1 as they sit in 13th place in the standings.

We say: Flamengo 3-0 Santos

As well as Santos have performed away from home in recent fixtures, the Maracana is a whole other kind of environment to have to contend with, and one in which Peixe have struggled in, winning only once in their previous six visits there, with Flamengo outscoring them 6-1 in the past three matches played in Rio between these sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Internacional vs. Atletico GO (Monday, 11.00pm)

Only two games remain for Internacional and Atletico Goianiense, who are both chasing a spot in the qualifying stages of the Copa Libertadores next year and will face each other on Monday from Estadio Jose Pinheiro Borda.

The 2020 league runners-up are 10th in the table with 48 points, which is one more than Dragao, who are unbeaten in their last six games.

We say: Internacional 1-0 Atletico Goianiense

Even though they have underachieved domestically in 2021, Internacional have lost just one of their last 13 home games, failing to score in only of those matches, while Dragao have never beaten Inter in a competitive game away from home, having been outscored 10-3 in those five matches.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Cuiaba vs. Fortaleza (Monday, 11.00pm)

There is still so much to play for when fifth-placed Fortaleza travel to 16th-placed Cuiaba on Monday in the last but one round of fixtures in the Brasileiro.

The hosts could still be relegated as they currently only sit three points above 17th spot, but they could also qualify for the Copa Sudamericana if they win both of their remaining games, while Fortaleza are aiming for a top-four finish.

We say: Cuiaba 1-2 Fortaleza

With both teams still with something to play for, the home side and the visitors both need a win on Monday, which is why the two teams could get on the scoresheet.

However, with slightly better form entering this match, Fortaleza are expected to come out on top and secure their Copa Libertadores position.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
