Half-Time Report: Fleetwood Town two up at Port Vale

Josh Morris and Mark Roberts goals put Fleetwood 2-0 up against Port Vale in their League One finale.

Fleetwood Town are on course to finish the League One season in style having taken a 2-0 lead into the break of their clash with Port Vale at Vale Park.

Josh Morris and Mark Roberts goals have put the Cod Army in a good position to end their four-match winless run against a side who are unbeaten in four.

Michael O'Connor sent an early free kick wide for the hosts before Morris met a David Ball cross to thump past Chris Neal on 17 minutes.

Vale threatened from a dead-ball situation again as Tom Pope headed over, and Fleetwood soon went up the other end to increase their lead from a set piece of their own.

Morris swung in a corner and defender Roberts climbed high to head home his third of the season.
