Fleetwood Town loan Leeds United youngster Charlie Taylor

Fleetwood Town sign 20-year-old left-back Charlie Taylor on a month's loan from Leeds United.

Fleetwood Town have signed young left-back Charlie Taylor on a month's loan from Leeds United.

The 20-year-old, who has been brought in as cover for the injured Alan Goodall and Stephen Jordan, goes straight into the Cod Army squad for Friday's trip to Southend United.

Fleetwood manager Graham Alexander told the club website: "We just felt that obviously with the injuries we've got we needed to strengthen the squad in that department and he's come with us for a month initially.

"We'll see how it goes from there."

Fleetwood have begun the season well and sit second in League Two after 11 games.
