Franck Ribery admits injury pain

Franck Ribery says that he is not 100% fit ahead of France's clash with Belarus.

France winger Franck Ribery has revealed that he has been playing through the pain barrier over the past few weeks.

The Bayern Munich man is a doubt for his country's World Cup qualifier against Belarus on Tuesday after picking up a knock in their 0-0 draw with Georgia on Friday.

Ribery, who was recently crowned UEFA's best player in Europe for last season, admits that he is not fully fit.

"It's true that I've suffering from pain in my gluteals for a few days now," Riber told reporters. "I also picked up a knock against Chelsea [in the UEFA Super Cup on August 30].

"Hopefully I won't feel any more pain between now and Tuesday when we take on Belarus. We'll do everything we can to reach that objective but I can't say I'm at 100%."

France currently sit second in Group I, three points behind leaders Spain.
