Fulham make it back-to-back victories in the Premier League courtesy of a 5-0 success over West Ham United at Craven Cottage.

Fulham made it back-to-back victories in the Premier League courtesy of a 5-0 success over West Ham United at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon.

The Cottagers entered the contest off the back of a 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, and they were again full of goals in the capital, proving to be far too strong for their opponents in the London derby.

The result has seen Marco Silva's side move into 10th position in the table, boasting 21 points from their opening 16 matches, while West Ham remain ninth on 24 points, with David Moyes's side suffering their sixth league defeat of the campaign.

West Ham were excellent against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, running out 2-1 winners to make it five victories from their last six games in all competitions, but they were brought crashing back down to earth at Craven Cottage.

As far as first 45 minutes go, it could not have been much worse for West Ham, who trailed by three goals at the interval, with Fulham proving to be better in all areas of the field.

West Ham actually had the game's first attempt, with James Ward-Prowse's free kick being kept out by Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

The home side managed to make the breakthrough in the 22nd minute, with Raul Jimenez heading a delivery from Joao Palhinha into the back of the net to spark jubilant scenes inside the stadium.

Fulham then doubled their advantage in the 31st minute, with Willian's first-time finish finding the bottom corner after Andreas Pereira had delivered a low cross into the box.

West Ham were all over the place, it became three for the hosts in the 40th minute, with Tosin Adarabioyo's towering header from a Pereira cross finding the back of the net.

Hammers head coach Moyes would have been demanding a response from his side, but instead, Fulham secured all the points on the hour, with Harry Wilson's wonderful curling effort picking out the top corner, leaving West Ham's players absolutely stunned at Craven Cottage.

Jarrod Bowen was doing his best to carry a threat for the visitors, but the Englishman continued to be crowded out by Fulham defenders every time that he managed to break into the box.

The home side made it 5-0 in the 89th minute of the match through Carlos Vinicius, with the striker registering from inside the box after being found by Wilson.

West Ham's attention will now switch to the Europa League, welcoming Freiburg in the competition on Thursday, with the Hammers looking to secure an automatic spot in the next stage of the tournament.

Fulham, meanwhile, will be aiming to make it three straight league wins when they head to St James' Park to tackle Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
