Fulham striker Ross McCormack has said that he does not expect to leave the club for Derby County.
The 28-year-old moved to Craven Cottage from Leeds United for £11m during the summer, but reports this week have suggested that he could join Derby if the Cottagers wanted to recoup some of the money spent on him.
McCormack believes that there is no truth in the link after speaking with Fulham manager Kit Symons.
"The manager has not even said anything to me about the reports, so that shows you how much truth there is in them," he told West London Sport.
"Newspaper speculation is the world we are living in. I have read it and a few of the lads have been having a bit of banter about it.
"I'm happy here. Fulham paid a nice bit of money to bring me here and I'm just looking to repay them by giving good performances."
McCormack has scored five goals for Fulham.
