Galatasaray chairman Unal Aysal has admitted that he is "counting" on Roberto Mancini to improve the Turkish side's fortunes.
Mancini is yet to win as the club's coach but Aysal is confident that the Italian is the right man for the job.
"I hope Mr. Mancini will do a good job at Galatasaray," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "I am counting on him.
"He has huge experience in the Champions League and also in the Italian and English leagues. I hope he will bring new blood and new oxygen to Galatasaray."
Mancini was Manchester City manager for four years before he joined Gala.
