Joachim Low: "Spain have a team of great class"

Germany boss Joachim Low hints that current European champions Spain will be the team to beat at Euro 2016 this summer.

Germany boss Joachim Low has paid tribute to current European champions Spain.

La Roja booked their spot in the knockout round of Euro 2016 with a game to spare courtesy of a 3-0 win over Turkey on Friday night, and Germany are widely expected to join them in the last 16.

Germany, Spain and France are seen as the favourites for the crown this summer, and Low has hinted that Vicente del Bosque's side will be the team to beat in the European Championships.

"Spain have a team of great class. This has always been the case, not just [against Turkey]. They apply their game in an extraordinary way. Barcelona play like [Spain], while Real Madrid do so in a different way," Low told reporters.

Germany currently sit first in Group C ahead of their final match against Northern Ireland on June 21.
