Granada forward Odion Ighalo is expected to miss 'several weeks' of the season after rupturing his lateral meniscus during a training session on Tuesday.
His Spanish club have confirmed that the Nigerian striker will undergo "a definitive assessment" on Wednesday before revealing the exact seriousness of the injury.
"A definitive assessment of treatment and recovery time will take place as soon as possible," a statement on their official website read.
Terra have speculated that the 24-year-old could be out of action for the next three weeks, but that could be longer depending on whether an operation is required.
Ighalo has been on loan at Granada from Udinese since 2011.
