Granada 2-1 Malaga

Malaga miss the opportunity to put pressure on La Liga's top four after going down 2-1 at Granada this evening.

Granada eased their relegation fears with a home win over Malaga this evening.

Goals from Odion Ighalo and Inigo Lopez either side of Salomon Rondon's effort were enough to secure the three points.

After a goalless first half, the home side took the lead when Ighalo converted Rico's cross with a low finish.

Rondon restored parity after a smooth move from the blue and whites. Seba Fernandez backheeled to Monreal, who found Rondon to finish.

Although Manuel Pellegrini's side seemed likely to claim the victory, Lopez pounced on a rebound to slot past Willy Caballero nine minutes from time.

Granada have moved up to 14th with the win while Malaga missed the chance to close on the top four.
