Adam Pearson to cite unfair dismissal?

Adam Pearson is reportedly seeking legal advice to take on Hull City after the club dismissed him from the Championship outfit.

Former Hull City head of football operations Adam Pearson has reportedly sought legal advice after being sacked by the Championship club.

The 47-year-old was dismissed "without notice and without compensation" just days after reports claimed that manager Nick Barmby had been suspended by the club for remarks made about the Tigers' financial state to the press.

It is understood that Pearson will not relinquish his position lightly and has sought legal representation to deal with the situation, according to The Express.

"I wish to register my extreme surprise and disappointment at the sudden, and in my view totally unjustified termination of my agreement," said Pearson.

Pearson was chairman at the KC Stadium for six years before moving into a consultancy role.
